After this release the last “e” would soon disappear and his career was aimed for the stars. “Back Up Train gives the listener a quick look in the future as this album has all of Green’s distinctive vocal elements though in a more rough form. By the time Green’s mega-hit “Let’s Stay Together” was released a few years later, “Back Up Train” was a highly sought after album.
