Slovak quintet Aeon Winds is back with a new offering to the altar of atmospheric black metal: three years after the acclaimed Stormveiled, the Bratislava-based band is about to release their new EP, Extinguishing The Light. The concept of Extinguishing The Light is a musical fusion of melancholic moods with atmospheric black metal, and the lyrics directly follow the message born by Stormveiled. The five brand new tracks by Aeon Winds present a unified concept of ancient history and mythological imagery drawn from Slovak folklore abstractly expressed through metaphors and lyrical imagery. Extinguishing The Light will be released by Avantgarde Music on a strictly limited CD run on November 25th, 2022.
