The Artwoods were an original mod band that was a fixture on the British club circuit in the 1960s, featuring John Lord (later of Deep Purple) on organ, Keefe Hartley on drums, and Ron Wood's brother, Art Wood (Arthur Wood), with his droning voice. Produced by Mike Vernon, the man who started the British blues rock boom on the Blue Horizon label, the only album "ART GALLERY" released on Decca in 1966 is now being reissued on mono LP. All the songs are soul/R&B covers, and the arrangements and performances are so hot that they got the floor roaring with the real mod sound. 315 copies limited to turquoise colored vinyl.
