It has been 40 years since Axe released their self-titled debut album on Curb Records way back in 1979. "Living On The Edge" followed in 1980, the classic "Offering" was released on Atlantic in 1982 and "Nemesis" in 1983. "Axe V" hit the streets in 1996 and "20 Years From Home Vol. 1 and 2" were released in 1997 and 1998. You have to go all the way back to the year 2000 for "The Crown", their most recent studio recording. The band treated their fans to a independent CD/DVD release of their 2012 live performance at the Sweden Rock Festival and a couple of really good "Best of" collections came out in 2012 ("Axeology 1979-2001") and 2015 ("Rock 'N' Roll Party In The Streets", "The Best Of Axe"). Now in 2019, Axe is back with their latest and perhaps last studio recording of new material: "Final Offering".
