A part of this 11-piece band recorded and/or co-wrote in the famous STAX golden sixties with Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Rufus Thomas, Carla Thomas, William Bell, Eddie Floyd, Johnnie Taylor, Albert King, Bill Withers and Elvis Presley. Not only does this album sound fresh today, it's a sincere, heartfelt tribute to the blues and soul of the sixties
