Amanda Leigh Moore (born April 10, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame with her debut single, "Candy". Her debut studio album, So Real was released in 1999.

She released the studio albums Mandy Moore (2001), Coverage (2003), Wild Hope (2007), Amanda Leigh (2009) and Silver Landings (2020) as well as the compilation album I Wanna Be With You.

In Real Life is the follow-up to 2020’s Silver Landings, which was her first new album in more than a decade. The title track serves as the first single.

“So much of this record came from future-tripping on the next chapter of my life and what it might look like: What parenthood would feel like, how it would change everything, and all the excitement and trepidation that comes with that,” Moore said in a statement. “At the same time, it was about celebrating and acknowledging where we were at the moment and really trying to be completely present in the everyday — which is maybe the hardest part of the human condition.”
