Singing drummer Max Werner was influenced by his peer Phil Collins’ groundbreaking drum sounds on Peter Gabriel 3 and “In the Air Tonight.” Seasons, too, sets massive drums against often spare synthesizer backing and spotlights Werner’s strong vocals.
